Join us Saturday, August 8th at the Georgina Cole Library in Carlsbad. Carlsbad City Library’s Grow Your Garden program lets you swap succulents, seeds, fruit, vegetables and herbs from your garden with your neighbors and learn new gardening techniques.

Stacey Messina of Seed & Trellis presents: Hands-On Seed Savings a Free Workshop!

Learn the art of saving seeds in your edible home garden using techniques like threshing, winnowing, and fermentation techniques! We will go over the easiest seeds to save to begin your journey and some of the more challenging ones too. Everyone goes home with a packet of seeds that you processed!

***If your gardens have anything ready for seed processing(wet seeds like tomato or peppers cucumbers) or almost dry plants ready for processing like lettuce, peas, beans, flowers.... I'd love to show an assortment of veg/flowers/fruit for show and tell.  Invite friends and fellow gardeners to bring what they have.
